The S.E.E PROGRAM: Survivors Embracing Each Other
S.E.E is an initiative created by our Founder: Zoe Touray. The initiative consists of pop-up projects and events carefully orchestrated for youth in communities where school-based gun violence has occurred. "Every child deserves to feel safe." This is our way of preserving the innocence of America’s school children and making sure the youngest victims of these tragedies aren’t lost or overlooked amidst the political mire. Our goal is to create community amongst survivors of school based gun violence.
S.E.E'S HIGHLIGHT EVENT
Survivors United Playday
We are looking to create an environment that empowers young survivors to openly share by providing a safe-space that promotes a positive sense of belonging. We are collaborating with youth mental health experts, education professionals, advocates and parents of survivors to ensure the S.E.E. Program offers meaningful, healthy encounters and encourages life-long relationships survivors can count on. Those are the ultimate goals. Survivors United Playday is based around the field days put on by our schools when we were younger, as a day of fun and healing to all who take part.
